Kia ora koutou.
I don't know about you, but we thoroughly enjoyed our information evening last week. We were so inspired by the turn out, and the diversity amongst the group. If that meeting is anything to go by, I am confident we will have a wonderful community garden up and running in no time.
Next Steps
Our next steps are as follows.
1. We have submitted a second round of information to the local council. The garden will go through a council lead process in order to get final approval. We are hopeful this will happen before the end of the year, however, it is most likely to be completed early 2019.
2. We will also be working towards pulling together a committee who will oversee the garden and establish the legal structure's required to do so.
